Frequently Asked Questions

Tryouts are open to boys and girls, grades 3–8. No prior experience is required. We evaluate every player and place them where they’ll develop best — whether that’s on a competitive team or in our skills training classes.

Each grade comes in for two sessions. Coaches assess skill level and ability to compete. Teams are formed from those evaluations, pairing players with similar abilities for the right development environment.

Roster invites go out through training camp. You’ll know your placement before the season begins in September.

If a full team can’t be formed at your level, or if more skills training will help you get ready, we’ll invite you into our skills training classes. Many players start there and join a team within a few months.

Tryouts are $25 per player. Training Camp is $165 per player. Once rostered, base monthly dues are $215, which covers two team practices per week, two skills training sessions, and online development content. League fees and jerseys are separate.

Practices and trainings are held at Pleasant Grove Rec Center (Utah County) and F5 Athletics in Syracuse (Davis County). Exact days and times are communicated when you receive your roster invite.

Tryouts happen once a year in late July and are the primary way to join a team for the upcoming season. A player evaluation can be scheduled any time — it’s how players get started mid-year in our skills training classes or jump into any available team spots.

Basketball shoes with non-marking soles, athletic clothes, and a water bottle. Everything else we provide.

No. Those are separate programs run through our United Athletics Association high school partnerships. Club Utah tryouts are for families in Utah County and Davis County who want the Club Utah program specifically.
